Don't Let the Holiday Season Interrupt Your Writing Flow!
Are you secretly dreading the next few weeks of festive toasts, hovering over holiday party cheese platters and making small talk? Set aside two hours this month to focus on yourself and your writing.
Hey, writers! Don’t know about you, but this week is the part of December where I start to feel like, ahhhhhhhhh there are not enough hours left for all the work I need to do and all the fun I am supposed to have! Naturally, that often means finding time to write falls by the wayside. My early New Year’s resolution is to not let that happen in any week in 2026. If that’s your goal too, I hope you’ll join us this Sunday for a very special holiday season event: Mindfulness + Meditation Mini-Retreat for Writers.
Led by Jaime Glasser DVM MS, a certified mindfulness teacher and writer, this fun and inspiring session is designed to affirm your creativity and offer tools to support joy, kindness and ease in your writing, even on difficult days. If you’re feeling stuck in your writing, or unsure what direction to take it in the new year, this one is for you.
Jaime led our first-ever mindfulness mini-retreat this fall, and attendees were unanimously over the moon about how much they got out of this session.
On Sunday, December 21 at 12pm ET, this two-hour session ($45) will include a guided meditation, a prompt to generate an understanding of your perceived obstacles, and peer support session to help you identify the tools to push past those obstacles and unlock all your writing potential in the year to come.
As a special bonus this week, Jamie Glasser is also guest-hosting both editions of our Wednesday Writers’ Room, where she’ll give us a teeny-tiny preview of what will happen at this mini-retreat. So join for those if you’d like to learn a little more.
Writers’ Room is a virtual space to write alongside other writers, share what you’re working on, get inspiration, and be held accountable. Join us every Wednesday morning from 8-9 a.m. ET (and now, from 8-9 a.m. PT too!)
