Last Call to Join the 2026 Narratively Book Incubator!
Make this the year you actually write that book—with expert guidance and a caring community helping you at every step along the way.
We’ve been so blown away by the reaction to our inaugural year-long Narratively Book Incubator. Over and over again on the calls I’ve had with writers these past few weeks, people have said “this is exactly what I need.” Which makes sense—because you were the ones who told us to start this! And if you’ve been thinking about signing up, it’s now or never, because class starts this week.
What is the Narratively Book Incubator?
It’s a chance for small groups of up to 10 writers to receive close, personal guidance, feedback and one-on-one mentoring from a very accomplished book author; attend a carefully curated roster of expert panels and Q&As with agents, editors and other industry insiders; and work in community with each other to write your book in 2026.
Who are the instructors and when do classes start?
As of right now there are:
2 seats left in Claire Rudy Foster’s class, which starts this Sunday, January 11.
4 seats left in Shawna Kenney’s just-added class, which starts Monday, January 12.
1 seat left in Kern Carter’s class, which starts Tuesday, January 13.
More information about all of these talented instructors can be found on the main Book Incubator page and in the recording of the Meet the Mentors chat.
How do I sign up?
Head to the main Book Incubator page and click the “sign up” button.
What if I’m still not sure?
It’s a big commitment so I totally get it! If you’re thinking of joining and want to talk it over with me first, I will make time to chat the next couple of days, including this weekend. Drop me a line: brendan@narratively.com and we’ll set it up.
Do you have payment plans?
Yes, we have no-interest monthly payment plans—email me for more details.
So….what exactly is it again?
