Our First-Ever (FREE!) Mindfulness + Meditation Mini-Retreat for Writers
Set aside two hours next weekend to join us for a virtual session designed to clear your mind and reinvigorate your writing.
Happy Friday, writers! Don’t forget to head over to the Narratively Academy chat and tell us about your #WeeklyWin.
Also, we have exciting news for anyone who is looking for a spark to ignite your writing this fall, or feeling the need to step back and think about what you really want to write—and how to do it.
On Sunday, September 14 at 12pm ET, Narratively Academy is offering a free 2-hour virtual mini-retreat designed to bolster your writing practice via guided exercises, meditation, thoughtful writing prompts, and collaboration with peers.
Led by Jaime Glasser, a certified mindfulness meditation teacher and writer, and held on Zoom, this fun and inspiring session is designed to affirm your creativity and offer tools to support joy, kindness and ease in your writing, even on difficult days.
The session will include an introduction to mindfulness and why it can be a supportive partner in the writing process. Jaime will facilitate a guided meditation to promote a positive mindset and prepare you to write. Then, you will respond to a prompt and generate an understanding of your perceived obstacles and the unique qualities you possess to overcome them. We’ll break into small peer support circles where you’ll have the opportunity to share your personal discoveries. We’ll close with an opportunity to share the small groups’ revelations with the whole cohort, and examine how to incorporate all of our takeaways into our individual writing practices.
This session is free to all Narratively Academy paid subscribers. RSVP is required.
