Join Us for a Live Video with Artist and Writer Nupu Press
In our next Open Book conversation, we'll dive into Nupu's creative process as she discusses her use of visual sketchbooks and introduces an exclusive flash writing contest.
All of us here at Narratively Academy are writers, but we’re also huge fans of creative projects that blend writing with other mediums. One person who does that masterfully is Nupu Press.
Nupu wears so many hats, I think of her as a Renaissance woman. She’s worked as a film producer, she’s an incredibly wise writer, and she’s also a fine and sensitive visual artist. Born in Bangladesh, raised in Kuwait, and educated in the United States, she currently lives in Sicily and is the author of two beautiful books of hand–drawn art and text, My Illustrated Camino Diary and The Camino Francés, and she publishes more of her work over on her substack, Seeking.
Nupu is also a dear friend of mine and I’m excited to interview her for the next episode of Narratively’s Open Book live video series on Friday, October. 3, 2025 at 12pm E.T.
This video will take place on Substack Live. Simply come back to NarrativelyAcademy.com at 12pm ET on Friday, October 3, or click this link to join.
