Join us for a 4-week masterclass designed to pull back the curtain on how the Hollywood adaptation process really works — taught by the IP strategist behind dozens of story-to-screen deals with Amazon, Warner Bros., Universal, Lionsgate and partners like LeBron James and Emma Roberts. These are the same insights that professional screenwriters and producers rely on — made accessible to storytellers at any stage.
Whether you’ve published a piece or book, produced a podcast, or just have a compelling real-life narrative waiting to be told, this is your chance to learn what makes Hollywood take notice — and what to do next. This isn’t theory — it’s a practical, behind-the-scenes look at what’s actually working right now in the world of nonfiction adaptation. No matter if you’re aiming for screen stardom or simply want to elevate your work and attract new opportunities, you’ll walk away with insider tools that most storytellers only learn after years of navigating Hollywood’s opaque development process — or never at all. Taught by Noah Rosenberg, Co-Founder & CEO of Narratively, former New York Times journalist, and IP strategist who has been to “development hell” and back, and is ready to share the roadmap.
Why It Matters:
Adaptation isn’t just a creative win — it can unlock wider recognition, passive income, press coverage, industry connections, and career-defining opportunities. The right story, positioned and packaged the right way, can open doors to everything from agents and book deals to new commissions.
Noah personally experienced this transformation when he adapted his own memoir story into a scripted series developed with Warner Bros. TV and legendary director Robert Zemeckis for The CW — and he’s helped dozens of other writers navigate their own journeys to screen.
This course is designed to fast-track your path with insider insights, practical tools, and real-world connections normally reserved for industry veterans.
Over Four Weekly Sessions, You’ll Learn:
What separates stories that get adapted from those that don’t
Featuring real examples of Narratively stories that led to bidding wars and Hollywood deals
How to understand and navigate the underlying rights to your story
Whether you own the work or not, here’s what to look for and how to move forward
The anatomy of a pitch
How to craft killer loglines, one-sheets, and present your story the way producers and buyers expect (and can’t resist)
How to generate real interest
Tactical strategies for reaching agents, producers, screenwriters, and directors — even if you don’t know a single person in Hollywood
What happens after someone bites
From rejection to rewrites, learn how the Hollywood development process really works – and the secrets to staying sane and successful along the way
Throughout the masterclass, you’ll also hear from top development execs, screenwriters and producers who regularly scout true stories — and know exactly what makes them undeniable.
