Which Story Should Leah Write?
One writer in our community has tons of ideas but isn't sure which one she should focus on. Choose your own adventure and help Leah decide what to write!
Over at the Narratively Academy Chat (where we celebrate our writing wins, vent about roadblocks, and share all kinds of knowledge with this wonderful writing community),
mentioned:I've been trying to decide on which of my stories is worth turning into a novel or a series. I just have too many ideas.
We can empathize with that one! So we figured, why not try to help? We followed up with Leah, who shared that she’s a very new writer:
I only have a few stories on WattPad but I have never been published. This will be my first novel. I am following my dream of becoming a published author.
So…let’s help Leah out! She shared the three ideas she’s been stewing over below. Take a quick look and let us know: Which one would you be most excited to read?
Siren Song: Femi is on a research ship during her last year of college. She is going to be a marine biologist, specializing in the field of cryptids and mythical beings. One night she hears a song on the waves. All of the men on her ship disappear, leaving a few women. She meets the siren, who has something to do with the men disappearing. This siren invites her to see what really happens after she sings her songs.
Silver: Silver is a creation goddess. She builds a town that becomes a safe haven for the descendants of the mythical beings and others she has created. Silver also discovers an orphan who turns out to be a high priestess who worships Silver. Can she save her from being exploited by the head of the orphanage?
As The Sun Sets: Heartbreak leads one woman on an adventure to find the happiness she is searching for after she catches her fiancé cheating on her. One thing she never imagined is that she can choose to become something else entirely each time the sun sets.
