I can’t even tell you how excited I am to launch our latest initiative, which I’ve spent the past several months planning with our team here at Narratively and three of my all-time favorite writing instructors.
As I’ve spoken with many of you in the Narratively Academy community these past two years, two things have become clear:
Many of have a book that you want—no, need—to write.
To actually get your book done, you need more than a one-off class. You need expert guidance, peer support, feedback, structure and accountability—for an ongoing period of time.
Inspired by these conversations with you all, our team is very pleased to announce the 2026 Narratively Book Incubator.
This is a unique opportunity for a select group of writers to receive close, personal guidance and feedback from one of a trio of very accomplished book authors; attend a carefully curated roster of expert panels and Q&As with agents, editors and other industry insiders; and work in community with each other to write your book in 2026.

The overall approach and curriculum is strategically structured to give you all the tools and guidance you need to actually write your book in the 2026 calendar year.It’s open to anyone working on or considering writing a full-length book in memoir, non-fiction, fiction, or hybrid genres. If you join, you’ll take part in biweekly classes, one-one-one meetings and regular feedback with instructors, plus a host of other resources specifically tailored to help you write the best book you possibly can.
