Join Us for Writers' Room on the East…and West Coasts!
We meet every Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. ET—and now PT too—to write in community and share our goals. PLUS, paid subs: Stay late for 'extra help' so we can answer all your burning writing questions.
If you’ve ever joined Writers’ Room, you know it’s a productive, sacred-to-many time and place. If you haven’t heard about it yet, it’s a weekly virtual space in which to come together and write, share our morning writing goals, and at the end, briefly ruminate on how it all went. It’s been going so well that we finally decided to heed your pleas and add a second time, specifically geared toward folks in the Pacific and Mountain time zones. So, set your alarm for tomorrow — and every Wednesday! — morning and come write with us.
And wait…there’s more! This week — and every last week of the month — we’re inviting paid subscribers to stay after for what we’re calling “extra help.” Starting at 9 a.m. ET and PT respectively (so, directly after Writers’ Room ends), we’re setting aside a half an hour of time for you to get to pick the brains of our senior editorial staff — executive editor Jesse Sposato at 9 a.m. ET and editorial director Brendan Spiegel at 9 a.m. PT. Wondering when to write your essay in present tense versus past, want to talk through a short scene and get some advice on it, just need a pep talk about why you should stay in it? We’re here for you! Stay late and we’ll talk it through…
Here’s how to join tomorrow, Wednesday, October 29, and every week, from 8-9 a.m. ET + PT (yes, it’s the same link for both time zones!):
Of course, it goes without saying that you don’t have to be based on either U.S. coast to join. Everyone is welcome to come to either the 8 a.m. ET or 8 a.m. PT Writers’ Room session — whichever one works best for you — regardless of your time zone!
P.S. East Coasters, if you love Writers’ Room (or keep meaning to join!) and want to receive text message alerts each week when we’re about to begin, head here to (very easily) sign up, and here to add the 8 a.m. ET Writers’ Room to your calendar.
And now, West Coasters, if receiving text message alerts each week when we’re about to begin appeals, head here to sign up and here to add the 8 a.m. PT Writers’ Room to your cal.
Not interested in Writers’ Room and would rather not get emails about it? Go to your settings and unselect “Writers’ Room” in the notifications section.
