Looking for Accountability? Join Writers' Room Tomorrow Morning
We meet every Wednesday to write in community, check in about our goals and share how it went. Join us for a session tomorrow—and every Wednesday—at 8 a.m. ET.
During a recent team brainstorm meeting, one of the things it seemed we were all looking for, no matter our projects or genres, was: accountability. Every writer knows how easy it can be to find excuses not to write (us more than anyone!), but what if there was a virtual place a group of writers with similar goals met at the same time every week to do almost nothing but write together? You know what’s coming: It already exists! If you’re not familiar, we’re talking about Writers’ Room, the virtual space we’ve created to work alongside other creators, get inspiration and be held accountable every week (or as often as you feel like joining).
If you are familiar and you’ve joined before, you know how helpful and motivating this space can be. If you haven’t yet, don’t take our word for it — this is what some participants have said: “Grateful for this!”; “Almost didn’t make it here this morning but so glad [I did] — found an unexpected spark for the day.”; “I’m so grateful for everyone’s energy this morning.”
So, ready to make a dent in your essay or messy play draft or pitch and join us tomorrow? We’d love to see you! And if you know someone you think could use this or would enjoy it, tag them below to make sure it’s on their radar!
Here’s all the info to join tomorrow morning, Wednesday, October 15 (and every week), from 8-9 a.m. ET:
P.S. Love Writers’ Room (or keep meaning to join!) and want to receive text message alerts each week when we’re about to begin? Head here to (very easily) sign up.
And…if you’re not interested in Writers’ Room and would rather not get emails about it, go to your settings and unselect “Writers’ Room” in the notifications section.
Is there a group that happens in the evenings?
I'd be happy to volunteer to lead a co-writing session for people in the PT (so we're not trying to write at 5AM lol).
